With more than 35 years of experience in the HVAC industry, “Smitty” is well known for his seminars, published industry articles and key involvement in a number of industry-changing initiatives.

He is the recipient of the U.S. EPA Climate Protection Award. He recieved his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
